Shipping Coins
We suggest that you please use the United States Postal Service (USPS) to mail your coins to us. Pack your coins securely in coin tubes, bags, bubble wrap or paper towels, other paper before placing in the box or pack. (PLEASE Don’t use a regular envelope). Make sure that the coins are packed tight, otherwise the coins will rattle around cause damage, slip out, or increase the risk of theft. Be sure to tape the edges of the box, this well prevent coins from sliding out or tampered with. We strongly suggest you insure shipping for all items over $50.00 in value.
On all orders over $250.00 Coins for Cash will reimburse you for your shipping cost up to $8.75 (or more if approved in advance) when a purchase is made. We can also email prepaid and insured(we use a third party insurance provider) shipping labels for you to print out and attach to the box, thus allowing you to simply drop off at the post office have them scan the items and get a receipt. It is important to make sure you have tracking on all shipments to us. Also, additional insurance is recommended for high priced items. Based on total value of sale the Company may agree to pay for additional insurance and tracked shipping. Advance approval of shipping over $8.75 must be received by you in advance to be covered by company. Please contact us for approval.
The post office provides Free Flat Rate Priority mail Boxes/packs in various sizes. Again no envelopes please!
The Small Flat Rate box is $8.75 which includes tracking and basic insurance. If you are sending a lot of coins and they are heavy, a larger Flat Rate box can be used. If it fits, it ships! If you have decided to send us a large number coins and need a larger Flat Rate Box, multiple boxes and insurance we will cover the cost when a purchase is made!
Please print a copy of the packing slip that our site generates for you, and include it with your package. If you don’t have a printer you can write down the information from the packing slip and include with your package.
It’s not required, but we really appreciate customers that use the Check My Status feature and provide us with a Tracking Number, so we can also track your shipment.
We will reimburse your shipping cost up to $8.75 for orders over $250.00 when we make your payment. For larger orders we can reimburse you upto $40.00 for shipping and insurance with copy of receipt or email you a prepaid and insured shipping label. If we provide you with a prepaid and insured shipping label, once you receive the receipt from the post office that your item has been scanned and received by them, the sale price of the item is covered in full and protected by our third party insurance provider should the item be lost or stolen full value will be paid by the insurance provider.
